  • Abstract
    Diagnostic issues, therapeutic and forensic of cervical trauma, is a constant topic in Otolaryngologists specialists concerns in the context of complex pathophysiological mechanisms and etiological and their increase frequency. Due to the complex anatomy of the cervical region and the presence of multiple vital structures in an unprotected area, easily exposed to lesions through various mechanisms, it provides a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge for the practitioner. Modern methods of diagnosis and solution of cervical trauma revealed the importance of diagnosis and first aid measures since from the accident, followed by solving the shaft visceral lesions and cervical aerodigestive to recover normal function aerodigestive. Using appropriate protocols of first aid, diagnosis and treatment and also the correct therapeutic solution, we can avoid malpractice problems caused by this pathology.
