Abstract :
The purpose of the paper is to design and develop a low-cost alternative weather monitoring system that connects online for logging and data visualization. The proposed system is largely based on the Arduino platform to process and send data. This system uses the traditional Ethernet wired connection for stability and reliability of data transmission at the cost of being less portable. Then the system was tested for two weeks. Based on the collected data, the sensors and microcontroller were functional and reliable in terms of its consistency in reading the desired weather variables and updating the values displayed in the online monitor.
