Abstract :
In this paper, the economic dispatch problem in a distribution network between the grid, diesel electric generators, and wind turbines has been solved. The scenario tree method to solve the economic dispatch problem is used. Their power probabilities can be calculated by using their cost functions. Powers injected by diesel generators and wind turbines can reduce the power request of the grid and the cost of electricity consumption. In addition, wind turbines and diesel electric generators are placed near the consumers, which result in reduced line losses. Modeling and simulation of diesel electric generators and wind turbines in the 33 ADN distribution network and a local distribution network have been performed. To determine the wind speed of wind turbines, the Weibull probability distribution function is used.
