Abstract :
This work shows the results of a benchmarking study applied among the CFE-DCO 643 medium voltage circuits using “Data Envelopment Analysis” as a statistical tool for detect improvement areas at these circuits. Because of the different operative conditions of the electric network circuits between the rural and urban areas, a separated analysis for each of them was undertaken. Moreover, discrimination between overhead and underground circuits was established. The results show the potential of this tool to statistically detect improvement areas in a quantitative manner showing its effectivity.
