Collective wisdom based blog clustering

Rapid and significant growth in cyberspace and demand for fast and effective search in this unlimited space requires automatic and dynamic organization in blogs. In order to organize blogs it is essential to cluster them in various separate classes. In this paper collective wisdom based blog clustering is studied and its advantages and disadvantages are discussed. The discussed method is based on singular value decomposition (SVD) of the matrix which includes blog information and then exploiting the similarity matrix where the main cluster, lateral clusters and weight of the communication links are specified. Since the collective wisdom based blog clustering method exploits graph theory and plots communication links and determines the weight of them for blog clustering in which often characterized by word tags, not with numerical data, is so appropriate. Also, its intuitive capability is high.
