Abstract :
For the C title of 2012 China Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling, the influential factors of stroke are analyzed. Using the data in Appendix-C1, a statistical description of the patients is made by EXCEL. And then combined with the climate data in Appendix-C2, several mathematical models are established to analyze the relationship between stroke incidence and the climatic conditions by the regression function of EXCEL and SPSS software. The results show that there are seasonal changes in the stroke incidence: in the first quarter, because of the high atmosphere pressure, low temperature and low humidity, especially the violent change of these factors, the stroke incidence would be increased. The results can confirm the medical theory "The seasonal distribution of stroke is induced by the climatic factors." from a statistical point of view. Finally, based on the processing results, some early warning and guidance are suggested to the high-risk groups of stroke.
