Study of Edge Detection Based on SQI Algorithm and Morphology

In order to reduce the light on the face recognition effect, The article examines several classical edge detection operator based on SQI image enhancement algorithm, and it presents a new algorithm based on SQI and morphology in edge detection. The algorithm enhanced the ability of suppressing the noise, and it uses SQI makes the result easier and clearer to observe. The results show that the new algorithm has sound effects on noise resisting, and size and concentration of noise demand is small. It is more adaptable.
