  • Abstract
Internet of things based wireless sensor networks have become the leading method for industries across the world to track goods and products. As a combination of wireless sensor nodes established with an internet gateway and cloud database, these networks offer world wide access to current good and product conditions. Significant challenges exist with the large data that is produced by the sensor network, timely retrieval from the cloud storage system and the data presentation. We have observed from our empirical results that even-though the growth of the database is linear its presentation as graphs tends to have a nonlinear exponent. This paper highlights some of the major issues related to such a system, presenting a functioning example system and the related operational methodology.
