Abstract :
Intelligence is extremely critical for firms to evaluate competitive environment, grasp opportunities, gain advantages and cope with crisis. The emergence of big data has created new opportunities and more challenges for firms to identify and use intelligence effectively. This paper attempts to explore a multidimensional intelligence presentation method based on knowledge element. By respectively displaying intelligence closely related to critical success factors, crisis inducement factors and strength-weakness-opportunity-threat factors, managers can find out the critical intelligence of business decision-making. Especially in era of big data, this method can make intelligence service extremely effective and reliable with limited resources and liabilities. This paper is seen as a first attempt to provide and display intelligence based on strategic factors. Furthermore, by fusing relations of intelligence knowledge element, some hidden valuable knowledge can be rediscovered. Therefore, the business value of intelligence on strategic or crisis management is magnified. Experiment results verified the feasibility and validity of this study.
