Abstract
This paper describes the advancements of the Metaplastic Metadiscipline a Science-Art-Design research field that studies the most recent technological influences into the contemporary culture. It discusses the realization of the metaplastic cyber media through the interdisciplinary methodologies between reality and virtual realities. The cyber media acquires form and meaning through its process of conceptual interpretation. The Metaplastic artistic machine becomes aesthetic expression of virtuality. Some examples of applications are introduced through the Open Metaplastic software and hardware modelling design framework.
