Abstract :
To investigate the effect of atmosphere turbulence on laser communication, the effect of arrival of angle (AOA) fluctuation and scintillation are measured at a horizontal distance of 890 meters. During the experiments, 15000-frame images are grabbed by the high speed camera every ten minutes at a sampling frequency 1736Hz. The probability density distribution and power spectrum of scintillation and AOA fluctuation are analyzed according to the experimental data. The results indicate that under the condition of weak turbulence flow, the received light intensity probability is in lognormal distribution, the AOA probability conforms to a normal distribution. In addition, the power value of the spectrum of light intensity and AOA fluctuations deviate from the theoretical one at the high frequency, and its values are measured on a scale.
