Abstract :
The switched reluctance motor (SRM) shows great advantages of structural simplicity, high reliability, wide speed range with high efficiency, making it attractive to study its stored energy further. This paper accomplishes the modeling of the SRM and its control system on the basis of the software Matlab/Simulink. Furthermore, it explores the laws of energy factor variation under various speeds and conducting angles, including switch-on and switch-off angle with the same software and confirms them in theoretical analysis. Besides, it gives three control methods for comparison about energy factor under different rotating speed, which is essential to the determination of the optimal one for the least energy loss.
