            Abstract : 
This paper introduces a new 2-degree of freedom switched reluctance motor to tracking the position of sunlight for a concentrated photovoltaic (CPV) power generation system for the electric vessel. A modified control method has been suggested as the control scheme to ensure stability and accuracy of the tracker´s operation. Finally, the experimental results have suggested that the efficiencies and accuracy of the new tracker are better than that of conventional tracking system.
