Abstract :
This paper revealed the processes of implementing the management system of a Programmable-Logic-Controller-based (PLC-based) rubber mixing machine. The advantages of the proposed mixer management system are to maintain high stability, improve production efficiency, provide a greater variety of commands, and strengthen the traceability of the production history. The rubber mixing system consists of mixing machine and mixer management system. Managers can arrange the flows of all types of product in the office. The mixer management system provides many significant functions including scheduling and recipe management. All manufacturing processes information will be recorded, thus providing good product traceability. Managers can monitor the operation of the rubber mixing machine in the office. The implemented mixer management system had been set in a tire factory.
