Abstract :
We propose and experimentally demonstrate a simple structure of multi-wavelength Brillouin erbium fiber laser based on nonlinear Brillouin gain in the single mode fiber (SMF). This design presents a low threshold power of 13.89 dBm and generates up to26 Stokes lines at EDF pump power of 25.98dBm and BP wavelength is 1560nm. The tuning range is 40nm. Meanwhile, we discuss the experimental model about the rate and propagation equations in the erbium-doped fiber (EDF) and coupled wave equations of SBS process in the SMF.
