Abstract :
This paper introduces a simple structure of left-handed material which is made of periodic array of “II”, printed on only one side of a dielectric substrate. This simple left-handed material offers a very wide negative pass-band with low losses and small units. The simulation result got by software High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) shows that the effective electromagnetic parameters in the frequency from 8.785GHz to 15.574GHz are negative with its biggest loss low to 0.27dB per unit and the relative bandwidth about 55.74%.
