Solution to secure Instant Messaging based on hardware encryption

For a verity of security issues such as privacy breaches in Instant Messaging (IM), this paper proposes a security solution based on hardware encryption. The solution applies symmetric encryption to ensure data security, asymmetric encryption to ensure the safety of the session key transmission, and the security of both kinds of key is ensured by hardware encryption, which enables secure key management. The performance analysis showed that the solution proposed in this paper was more efficient and security.
