Abstract :
The progressive incorporation of electric vehicles in the vehicle fleet of cities, produce changes in the operation of power distribution networks due to charging battery processes. Therefore, it is necessary to develop tools to analyze and assess their impact on the system. In this article, a methodology for estimating the behavior of the main electrical variables distribution networks considering the presence of electric vehicles is proposed. The model is based on estimating energy expenditure of batteries and places of charging, using a traffic assignment model. The model uses a time period for analysis, which makes evident the instants at which the grid will have the highest demands. The results show that distribution companies must create incentives for electric vehicles are not charging during system peak hours.
