Abstract
This paper presents an engineering methodological approach to support manufacturing servitization in Virtual Manufacturing Environment (VME) and Ecosystem. This methodology was developed under a European Integrated Project MSEE (Manufacturing Service Ecosystem) and experimented in four companies under the frame of MSEE project. The methodology is elaborated on the base on some available but fragmented models, methods and tools. Consequently the proposed methodology allows reusing and integrating existing approaches rather than starting from sketch. In the paper the ´bag of assets´ and ´structured approach´ of the methodology will be given at first. Then the set of steps that constitute the structured approach are described in detail with illustration examples. Conclusions and future perspectives will be given in the end of the paper.
