Abstract
As increasing numbers of systems are deployed to support power and information transfer between surface monitoring installations and subsea instrumentation, the need to support interoperability between devices becomes a major concern. This article aims to provide an overview of the challenges associated with subsea electromagnetic interference mitigation and introduce strategies that can be used to overcome these challenges based on lessons learned during design and testing of systems for a wide range of subsea applications.
