Abstract :
This paper presents the development of a Virtual Library in Renewable Energy, Automation and Electric Drive (ERAAE Virtual Library) located at the Academusoft platform from the University of Pamplona. The portal is interactive and has information about natural energy sources, automation and electric drives examples, providing teaching and learning environments using the information and communication technologies. The tool is focused to engineering students: Electrical, Electronics and Mechatronics at the University of Pamplona. The teaching material from the Virtual Library ERAAE was developed on Adobe Flash CS5 using the actionscript programming language, which allows the student a simulation interface in order to emulate a real process. This program was accompanied among different multimedia tools like Macromedia Flash 8, Adobe Fireworks, Camtasia Studio, Macromedia Captivate and Sothink logo Maker Professional.
