Abstract :
In this paper, we report an optical frequency sensing system based on birefringence photonics crystal fiber slow-light interferometer, which takes advantage of the high birefringence feature of photonic fiber crystal (PCF) and slow-light based on Stimulated Brillouin Scattering (SBS). Through the theory analysis, it is proved that the system has a sensitivity that is 32.8 times higher than before due to the use of slow-light and PCF.
