Abstract
Software errors usually result from the interaction of related codes which need the analyzers to analyze a great number of codes to find out the causes. Based on dynamic slicing method, this paper focused on the dependence relationship of the execution code and taint analysis method to help to locate the fault code. We also made improvements on the open-source analyzer Tarantula and proposed another two parameters to describe the relationship between the related branch codes and the software errors. Experiments show that this method can help to locate fault codes more precisely.
