Abstract :
Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems have drawn great attention in recent years due to their high throughput achieved in wireless systems. To reduce the space signal interference, the base station needs to perform a user selection algorithm when the number of users is greater than the number of antennas. User fairness is an important indicator in non-uniform channel. However, there is no standard to measure the user fairness. In this paper, we consider designing a fairness factor of user selection algorithm based on downlink multi-user MIMO system, and analyzing several common algorithms. The simulation results show that the factor can describe user selection algorithm fairness well.
