Abstract :
This paper addresses the concept of synergy in railway material management. It focuses on the challenge of identifying synergy opportunities between railway material management with other business lines in an enterprise. The paper presents both the logic and formation process of building railway material management synergy opportunities, along with analyzing the range and content of the concept. Through the use and adaption of the Delphi Method, the identification process of discovering synergy opportunities is outlined, and through quantitative application a weighting coefficient has been arrived at to measure these opportunities. Application of a membership degree evaluation model was used to pre-evaluate the effectiveness of synergy. Finally the fuzzy evaluation raised in this thesis works to provide meaning in identifying the synergy in railway material management.
