Abstract :
Compressive sensing (CS) algorithm is proposed for multi-spectral image fusion to further improve image fusion effect and shorten fusion time-consuming. First, both intensity components of multi-spectral image and panchromatic image are decomposed respectively by wavelet transform (WT). Then, high frequency coefficients of WT are observed by CS observation matrix, and Orthogonal Matching Pursuit (OMP) algorithm and high frequency fusion rules are used to restore high frequency coefficients. Finally, the fused multi-spectral image is obtained by inverse wavelet transform and inverse IHS transform respectively. Simulation results show that the proposed CS multi-spectral images fusion algorithm is superior to other related methods in subjective visual effect and objective evaluation parameters, and about 60 seconds of fusion time-consuming is cut down.
