  • Abstract
    Design principles as well as key characteristics simulation results of the VCSEL-based optoelectronic frequency converter using the powerful electronic CAD tool NI AWR Design Environment are presented. A comparison with previously reported modeling results for microwave-band optoelectronic frequency converter using a special optoelectronic CAD tool is highlighted.
