Abstract :
This paper, investigates a compact single band notched Ultrawideband (UWB) monopole antenna with a modified Hilbert Fractal Parasitic Resonator. The antenna exhibits an Ultra Wide bandwidth which ranges from 2.61GHz-13.22GHz. The parasitic resonator results in band notching the frequency range between 7.89-8.83 GHz which is assigned for X-band satellite communication systems. This antenna can be used in various UWB communication systems.
