Abstract :
In this article effect of feeding location on bandwidth, gain and resonance frequency is presented. The proposed antenna consists of a triangular shape slot on the ground plane with rectangular shape radiating patch. The fabricated antenna FR4 substrate is used with dielectric constant 4.4. The dimension of the radiating patch and ground plane are 14 × 14 mm2 and 30 × 30 mm2 respectively. The proposed antenna offers three frequency bands of 2.714 - 2.95 GHz, 4.6 - 4.85 GHz and 6.07 - 6.58 GHz at 2.83 GHz, 4.72 GHz and 6.34 GHz. The maximum peak gain of 3.94 dBi (Simulated) and 4.8 dBi (measured) are achieved.
