Abstract :
This paper presents a via-less wideband bandpass filter using composite right/left handed transmission line (CRLH-TL). The filter is designed with a closed rectangular ring resonator, interdigital capacitor, meander line and semicircular stub. The proposed filter is simulated and characterized using high frequency structural simulator ANSYS HFSS 14. Proposed filter can be operate in the frequency range of 4 GHz - 10.5 GHz with a fractional bandwidth of 90% (fo = 7.9 GHz). In addition to this it offers a group delay of 0.22 ns in the passband.
