Abstract :
This study aims to determine the conduction level and thermalization distance of electrons in liquid alkanes (n-pentane and n-hexane) using zinc and gold photocathodes. The observed photocurrent obey Fowler´s law. Results show that the thermalization distances obtained in this experiment are smaller, for the same assumed distribution function, than those determined with other injection processes.
