Abstract :
The high-pT trigger to select tracks with high transverse momenta has been developed. The concept, design criteria and system components are described. A dedicated data processing (pretrigger logic) system has been developed to extract and process pretrigger events out of 3×1012 combinations per second. Operational performance of the data processing system and other components of the trigger system are presented
