Abstract :
The control of Electronic Throttle Valve (ETV) is a highly complex due to the nonlinear and uncertain behavior of the plant caused by external environmental variables. In this paper, a PID-type Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) based on flatness is applied to ETV. The main idea of this work consists in using one of the flatness property of linear systems in order to plan a reference trajectory. Then, the tracking of the reference trajectory is ensured by a PID-type FLC. Simulation results demonstrate the effective performance of the proposed controller in terms of tracking a desired trajectory with disturbances rejection.
