Abstract :
In principle U-model based control system design procedure has been witnessed to significantly reduce the complicity in structure and computation of wide range of nonlinear dynamic system. To further make design in a prototype of CAD, this paper establishes a foundation of CAD Tools based on MATLAB GUI (Graphical User Interface). First, the main idea of U-model based controller design is briefly explained to facilitate potential users, and the step by step design procedure is summarised. Second, a universal program package is developed by using object-oriented software based on GUI. The key problems in this design and the solutions are presented in details. At last, for bench tests, two examples are selected to demonstrate the operation of the CAD Tool. The simulation has shown that the CAD Tool is a very user-friendly and efficient/efficiency for system synthesis and analysis.
