  • Abstract
    The paper adopts FLOW-3D flow calculation software, through combining the RNG k-ε model and VOF method, realizes the three-dimensional flow field numerical simulation of hydraulic characteristic of level swirling flow tunnel spillway; conducts the contrast analysis and research on the pressure distribution, velocity distribution and energy dissipation of different crossing angle of open inlet axis and swirling flow tunnel axis; the numerical simulation can objectively reflect the flow field characteristics of rotational flow in swirling device, and the results can provide reference for the research and application of swirling energy dissipater.
