Abstract :
Meteorological data visualization which regard as data visualization technology has an absolutely necessary place in the fields of data visualization in meteorological science and technology application. Using image data (different heights of isoline arrays) which provided by the province meteorological department to verify this visualization system. We design and development of the meteorological data visualization system with the aid of AVS/Express platform [1] software, it generate visual meteorological data and achieve the result of 2 and 3D visualization. It realize 3D visual effect which used photometry and colorimetry of algorithm, meteorological knowledge. It can enhance the ability of meteorological data graphics analysis which used GIS [2] 2 and 3D integration technology. Meteorological model data can be physically presented to the scientific research person through the application of visualization technology so that they can understand the data and the meteorological data of cognitive ability deeply.
