  • Abstract
The power system fault diagnosis (PSFD) expert system is a powerful assistant tool to the operators at analyzing and dealing with faults, and also at operating simulation training. For uncertainties existing in the PSFD problem, this paper develops a solution based on fuzzy sets and fuzzy inference. Related to the scattered information of power systems, layered and distributed PSFD schemes are proposed and realized in detailed. The practical test in a certain distribution power grid is carried out and the results show that the methodology adopted in the paper is more accurate and practical.
