The significance of slow charge carriers for the inception of treeing

The results of these exploratory experiments show the plausibility of the idea linking the initial processes of electrical ageing, preceding the initiation of classical treeing, with the movement, energy transfer of slow charge carriers. Further investigations in this field are in progress.
