Abstract
Two-dimensional spherulites cloud be formed with the heat-treatment of the solution-grown high density polyethylene films. By using these films, we could specify the relation between the electric strength and the morphology. As a result, we concluded that the path along the spherulite boundaries is electrically weak. We also found that reinforcement could be attained by doping or oxdizing selectively to the spherulite-boundaries.
