Abstract :
Conductivity studies have been done in compression moulded polypropylene sheets as well as in drawn sheet of the same. The unidirectional drawing was carried out at room temperature at a draw rate of 2 to 3 mm with a final draw ratio 5.5. The sample became opaque and showed considerable anistropy, when studied for mechanical behaviour in various directions. The conductivity measurements are however carried out accross the sheets. The aging effects are seen in these samples in successive measurements of conductivity, with respect to temperature.
