Abstract :
A simple design procedure for multiband waveguide filters using multiband reactance function mapping is presented. The technique directly expands the transformation function into a coupled-resonator form with equal resonator impedances, without any optimisation or transformations. A tri-band X-band rectangular waveguide filter is designed using this approach.
