Abstract :
This paper presents the design of compact low-loss bandpass filter using the proposed hybrid resonator. The hybrid resonator is composed of a microstrip line and a short-circuit coaxial line. The proposed hybrid resonator configuration provides the advantages such as high Q-factor, small size, light weight, integration with other printed circuits such as power amplifier, low noise amplifier, mixer and significant simplification in the fabrication process. The measured results of filter show good agreement with the theoretical results.
