Abstract
The domain decomposition method provides a very effective strategy to solve the complicated multilayer dielectric or composite objects. The original objects are decomposed into many closed sub-domains based on its local material or geometry characteristics. Based on the property of different sub-domains, the JMCFIE, PMCHWT, CFIE-IBC, CFIE or EFIE can be formulated in different sub-domains, properly. The Robin transmission conditions can be enforced on the touching faces to ensure the continuity of electric and magnetic currents. The meshes of the touching faces are allowed to be non-conformal, so each sub-domain can be meshed independently to release the burden of geometry preparation.
