  • Abstract
We focus on MIMO mesh networks, which consist of wireless nodes supporting MIMO transmission. Communication quality of a wireless link using MIMO spatial streams is sensitive to change in its channel, and performance will be unstable. For stable operation of MIMO mesh networks, a method analyzing the MIMO mesh networks is needed. In this paper, we aim to propose an analyzing method of MIMO mesh networks. We measure the time variation of throughput and Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) as feature values of a link in our testbed of the MIMO mesh network, and analyze the measurement results by using Self-Organizing Map. As a result, we confirm that it is possible to find the links that have correlation with time variation of throughput and RSSI by applying SOM to the measured feature values.
