Abstract
Deconvolution technique is used in 18.7GHz vertical polarization channel brightness temperature data of MicroWave Radiation Imager of FY-3 satellite for improving the ground spatial resolution. This paper applies the technique to the simulation images of MWRI and compares the experiment results of existing noise and not firstly. Then the real data of MWRI is resolved, the relative geometry of every data samples changes over the scan due to the conical scanning of the instrument. The changes are resolved through designing different point-spread-function for every data in the reconstruction technique. The technique is applied in Malaysia and Indonesia regions, results indicate that, with the deconvolution technique, it is feasible to enhance the spatial resolution of MWRI, islands and the coast line in the enhanced express more details than non-enhanced brightness temperature images.
