Abstract
This paper presents a dual-band microstrip rectifier working at 2.45 GHz and 5.8 GHz for a low-power Wireless Power Transmission (WPT) system. The rectifier is composed of a matching network, a Schottky diode and a dc-pass filter (DPF). The fundamental frequency and the higher order harmonics created by the diode are effectively blocked by the "double-blade-axe" shaped DPF, which consists of four different fan shaped stubs. To match the different complex impedances at the two operation frequencies, a cross-shaped match stub and a T-shaped match stub are designed. When the input power is 0 dBm and the load is 2000 Ω, the measured power conversion efficiencies (PCE) are 57.6% and 33.62% at 2.45 GHz and 5.8 GHz, respectively.
