Abstract :
As traditional microstrip antenna has the disadvantage of narrow bandwidth, a kind of adaptive differential evolution algorithm based on dual population has been put forward, in combination with RWG-SWG hybrid basis function integral equation, to optimize and design a wideband antenna. In the algorithm, one population as a development and another population as a probe are used to increase the diversity of population, which avoids falling into local optimum and improves the search efficiency. The optimization results show that the antenna bandwidth has been extended from 11GHz~15GHz to about 10GHz~18GHz, achieving a broadening rate of 100%. The optimization algorithm has high calculation precision, strong versatility and can be used in many different problems. What is more, this algorithm can be applied to optimize multi-objective functions in parallel.
