Abstract
Describes two on-the-fly circuits that can replace the final ripple-carry addition of conventional n×n carry-save multiplier or be applied in the n-bit fast Gray code adder operation. Besides the regularity and modularity, the significance of the proposed schemes is that the transistor counts can be improved from 12n2 to 8n 2 compared to previous work that cannot be employed in the Gray code adder due to delay limitation
