Abstract :
We proposed a new scheme for generation of coherent and frequency locked LED based optical multi-carriers by using dual port Mach-Zehnder modulator and WDM Demux and Mux. After employing the proposed scheme we successfully generated different number of multi-carriers with excellent tone to noise ratios (TNR) and minimum amplitude difference. The frequency spacing is 12.5 GHz, while 193.1 THz is the frequency of LED with NRZ pseudorandom random bit stream of 10 G. Simulations results are in agreement with theoretical analysis. We have generated 4, 8, 10, 16, 20, and 32 carrier with different TNRs.
