Abstract :
A novel dual-sleeve broadband antenna for 2G/3G/4G mobile communications is presented. By using end-loaded technology the input impedance of the designed antenna is decreased and the bandwidth of the antenna is expanded. The operating frequency of dual-sleeve antenna is 0.8GHz to 2.7GHz, where the voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) is less than 1.5. A prototype is constructed and tested, which shows the impedance bandwidth of 1.21GHz within 1.5:1 VSWR achieved.
